Your Bro-fessor is here. Did you miss me, the MacLaren's ELT Pub regulars?. THE LEGEND IS BACK. It’s been a long break, but true to my word, I’m back to nail another activity that will engrave its name in the history of Marmara University.

Let’s be honest. In a world where tech evolves faster than a smartphone gets outdated, most teachers are still stuck in the past. Seriously, some are still rocking methods from the era of bro-magnons. But not me. When we were assigned to design a material for 5th-grade EFL learners on "Health," I didn't just open a book. I decided to design the most COOL and HOTTEST assignment in the world.

Welcome to "The Movie Hospital."

The concept? A "Flipped Classroom" video designed with the ASSURE model, because let's face it, my design is flawless. Instead of a boring lecture, I created a "Diagnosis Game." And since presentation is everything, bros, I didn't just use a webcam. I used Gemini to generate a professional "Doctor Avatar" to host the show, while I provided the voiceover (which is naturally AWESOME).

We turned the lesson into a cinematic experience. We diagnosed Sylvester’s stomachache, Psyduck’s splitting headache, and Mr. Bean’s terrified toothache. We even saw Spiderman yelling "My back!" for backache and Harry Potter’s rubbery broken arm. Why? To allow EFL learners to engage with corpus resources and AI technology to make discoveries via induction.

Implementing this wasn't easy. I used Suno AI to compose upbeat background music because stock music is for amateurs. Then, I edited the whole masterpiece in CapCut to enhance the quality. The images was created by my little Picasso "Gemini".

This project proves that a teacher’s job isn’t just drilling knowledge; it’s about preparing the next generation to own their world. The implementation might be a challenge for others, but our part is, and always will be... Legen --- wait for it ----dary!.

True story.
